Dial

Before you can setup a connection to pracon.net you will need the following information:

·        Your Username: Your e-mail login name
·        Your Password: The password you selected when activating your account
·        Dial-Up Phone Number: 329-1441

1. Click the Start button. And then click on the “Control Panel” icon.
2. The Control Panel should then appear on the screen. From there you will need to click on “Network and Internet Connections”
3. Upon clicking you should see this screen. From there you need to click on “Setup up or change your Internet connection”
4. After you click, you should then see the Internet Properties window. You will then need to click on the “Connections” tab and then where it says, “ To set up an Internet connection, click setup” Click the “Setup” button.
5. That will start the connection wizard to help you finish setting up your connection. Click “Next”
6. The Next step to select the “Connect to the Internet” And then click "Next".
7. You will then want to select to “Set up my connection manually” And then click “Next”
8. You will then want to select “Connect using a dial-up modem” And Then click “Next”
9. For the ISP name type in “Pracon.net”, or anything that you want to name it. Then click “Next”
10. For the phone number to dial, type in “329-1441” And then click “Next”
11. To let anyone that uses the computer use this connection select “Anyone’s use” To Make this connection just for yourself select “My use only” After making your selection click “Next”
12. The next step is to enter your user name and password (given to you when you signed up for your pracon.net account). After entering that information click “Next”.
13. Congratulations, You have just finished setting up your new pracon.net connection. If you wish to add a shortcut on your desktop just click the box “Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop” And then click Finish.
